Erreur n°1 : Confondre "There is" et "It is"
"It is a dog in the picture."
"There is a dog in the picture."
Utilisez "There is / There are" pour introduire un élément qui apparaît dans l'image.
Erreur n°2 : Oublier le progressif pour les actions
"The man reads a newspaper."
"The man is reading a newspaper."
Une image montre une action en cours. Utilisez le présent progressif (be + V-ing) pour décrire ce qui se passe au moment de la photo.
Erreur n°3 : Traduire "on voit" littéralement
"On this image, we see a city."
"This image shows a city." / "In this image, we can see a city."
"We see" seul est possible mais "This image shows" est plus naturel et plus académique.
Erreur n°4 : "People is" au lieu de "People are"
"There is people sitting at the table."
"There are people sitting at the table."
"People" est un nom pluriel en anglais. Il prend toujours un verbe au pluriel.
Erreur n°5 : Ordre des adjectifs incorrect
"A plastic large blue bag."
"A large blue plastic bag."
L'ordre en anglais : Opinion → Taille → Âge → Forme → Couleur → Origine → Matière → But.
Erreur n°6 : Confondre "wear" et "carry"
"She is carrying a red dress."
"She is wearing a red dress." / "She is carrying a red bag."
"Wear" pour les vêtements et accessoires sur le corps. "Carry" pour ce qu'on transporte à la main.
Erreur n°7 : "Look" vs "Look like" vs "Look at"

On dit "in the picture" (dans l'image, à l'intérieur de ce que montre l'image), jamais "on".
Erreur n°9 : Oublier l'article indéfini
"There is woman standing near window."
"There is a woman standing near a window."
En anglais, les noms singuliers dénombrables doivent être précédés d'un article (a / an / the).
Erreur n°10 : "Make" vs "Do" dans le contexte d'images
"The man is doing a call."
"The man is making a phone call."
On "makes a call", "makes a gesture", "makes a sign". On "does sport", "does the shopping".
