Dialogue 1 — Arrivée standard à l'hôtel

Receptionist: Good evening, welcome to The Grand Hotel. How may I help you?

Guest: Good evening. I have a reservation under the name of Martin.

Receptionist: Could you spell your last name for me, please?

Guest: Sure, it's M-A-R-T-I-N.

Receptionist: Thank you, Mr. Martin. I can see your booking — a double room for two nights. Could I have your ID and a credit card for incidentals?

Guest: Of course, here you go.

Receptionist: Perfect. Your room is 318 on the third floor. Breakfast is served from 7 to 10 am. Enjoy your stay!

Dialogue 2 — Réservation introuvable

Receptionist: I'm sorry, I can't seem to find your reservation under that name. Could you confirm the spelling?

Guest: Yes, it's Dubois — D-U-B-O-I-S. I made the booking online two weeks ago. I also have a confirmation email.

Receptionist: Let me check under the email address you used. What was it?

Guest: It's [email protected].

Receptionist: Got it — here it is! It was filed under "J. Dubois". Apologies for the confusion. Let me get your key card ready.

Guest: No problem at all, thank you!

Dialogue 3 — Restaurant gastronomique

Host: Good evening, do you have a reservation?

Guest: Yes, we have a table booked for 8 pm under the name of Leroy.

Host: Leroy, party of four?

Guest: That's right.

Host: Please follow me to your table. Can I take your coats?

Dialogue 4 — Demande check-in anticipé

Guest: Good morning. My name is Dupont. I have a reservation for tonight, but my flight arrived early. Is it possible to check in now?

Receptionist: Let me check your booking… Yes, Mr. Dupont. We actually have your room ready. It's your lucky day!

Guest: That's wonderful, thank you so much!
