HERE designe un endroit proche du locuteur : Come here. The report is here.
THERE designe un endroit eloigne du locuteur : Go there. The office is there on the left.
EVERYWHERE signifie en tous lieux : Our brand is known everywhere.

Quelle difference entre 'here' et 'there' ?
'Here' indique un endroit proche du locuteur (ici, pres de moi). 'There' indique un endroit eloigne du locuteur (la-bas, pas pres de moi). 'Over here' et 'over there' sont des formes plus expressives souvent accompagnees d'un geste.
Comment utiliser 'somewhere', 'anywhere' et 'nowhere' ?
'Somewhere' = quelque part (affirmation ou question implicite). 'Anywhere' = n'importe ou (questions, negations, conditions). 'Nowhere' = nulle part (avec verbe affirmatif uniquement : I looked nowhere). Attention a la double negation : I can't find it ANYWHERE (pas nowhere).
Comment eviter la double negation avec les adverbes de lieu ?
En anglais, on n'utilise pas deux negations dans la meme phrase. Incorrect : I can't find it nowhere. Correct : I can't find it ANYWHERE. La regle : si le verbe est deja negatif, utilisez 'anywhere' (pas 'nowhere').
Que signifie 'hereby' dans un email professionnel ?
'Hereby' est un terme formel signifiant 'par la presente'. Il s'utilise dans les lettres officielles et contrats : I hereby confirm my acceptance. I hereby certify that... C'est un registre tres formel.
Comment utiliser 'above' et 'below' dans un document ?
Dans les documents ecrits, 'above' signifie 'ci-dessus' (plus haut dans le texte) et 'below' signifie 'ci-dessous'. Exemples : As mentioned above, our figures show... / Please refer to the table below for details.

'Straight ahead' est la traduction de 'tout droit'. Exemples : Go straight ahead for 200 metres. The reception is straight ahead. You'll see it straight ahead after the lifts.
